Melanie’s dream of becoming a fashion designer turns into ashes when her late father’s thrift shop catches fire and forces her to rebuild her life from ground zero. She gains new hope through a job opening at SFX, an ambitious new clothing brand. Despite the initial rejection, SFX’s general manager Chris commissions her to come up with a collection and present it to the company’s big bosses.
